Our Fleet

Yellow Cab Chicago is North America's oldest and largest taxicab company. Since 1915 we have served the City of Chicago with great pride and, we believe, with the best fleet in town. Our fleet includes not only standard sedans, but minivans and wheelchair accessible vehicles as well.

We are currently testing new greener vehicles in our fleet with the goal of reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by 25%. Our current green fleet includes Ford Escape hybrids and Toyota Scions. Our plans for the upcoming year include the testing of natural gas and possibly hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
